Scholarship, Travel, and Scholar Awards

Call for Applications – Spring 2026

Delta Chi Chapter-At-Large is seeking applications for graduate and undergraduate scholarships to support students currently enrolled in nursing programs. One Travel/Conference Award will be given to assist members make presentations at conferences. Up to three Scholar Awards will be given to support a member with their scholarly project in clinical practice, education, or research.

In addition to the monetary value associated with each scholarship, recipients will receive an award certificate.

To apply for one of these awards, please email for the appropriate form describing how you meet the criteria.  Student scholarships also require a letter of support from a Delta Chi Chapter-at-Large member.

Deadline for applications is Monday, April 27^th by 5pm. 

Scholarship Awards

Delta Chi Graduate Scholarship:  One award of $1,000.00 to a graduate student who is a Delta Chi member.

Dorsey Undergraduate Scholarship: One award of $2,000.00 to a Gonzaga University or Washington State University student.  Delta Chi membership is not required.

Travel/Conference Awards: 1 award of $500.00 will be given to a current member of Delta Chi Chapter-at-Large.  Members must have a BSN or higher degree in nursing or be a nursing student enrolled in a higher degree program in nursing.  The purpose of the award is to assist members to make presentations at conferences.

Scholar Award: Up to three $1,000.00-$2,000 to an active member of Delta Chi Chapter-at-Large whose annual membership dues are current. The award may be used for scholarly projects in clinical practice, education, or research.  The award may be used to support implementation or dissemination, including travel, of the project.

Please join the Delta Chi Chapter-at-Large for a Fall Social and Board Meeting on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 from 5:00–7:00 PM at Osprey Restaurant & Bar (700 N Division St, Spokane).

We’ll begin with a social hour from 5:00–6:00 PM to reconnect and enjoy light appetizers by the river, followed by our board meeting from 6:00–7:00 PM, which all members are warmly invited to attend for chapter updates and opportunities to get involved.
